How To Track Your Loved Ones
Getting started is super simple! Start by downloading the CarMD® Connect App.
Create an Account
Both primary user and the person being tracked need to download the CarMD Connect app.
For example, a parent would need their teen to download the app too in order to start tracking each other's location.
Create an Account
Copy of Follow the prompt on screen.
Plug In Device to Car
Plug the CarMD Connect device to your car's OBD port. Turn the car OFF while plugging in the device.
If you aren't sure where your car's OBD port is, click on "Where is my connector" on the app or click here.
Enable Location Tracking
This is necessary to share you and your car's location with your family and friends.
Create or Join a Group
Here's the fun part! Create a group and start inviting your friends and family to it. Here's how:
1) Navigate to "Cars" on the bottom nav bar
2) Create a group
Invite Family
Once you've created a group, start inviting your friends and family with your invitation code.
Here's a simple 1-2-3 for your family:
1) Download the app
2) Create a free account
3) Press "Join a Group" and enter the invitation code
